ARTICLE XVIII.
SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY
B. Suit Against Officials and
Employees Officials and employees of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa
Indians who act beyond the scope of their duties and authority shall be
subject to suit in Tribal Court for purposes of enforcing rights and duties
established by this Constitution or other applicable laws. (These
violations are called ultra virus actions by named individuals even if
there are multiple actors)
For this clause in the
Constitution, I will propose a statute that defines “ultra virus” actions
cause damage against all Tribal Members and every individual Tribal Member
has standing to bring suit against the offender.
